Tanzania Names LNG Site Location

BG Group and Ophir Energy saw a step forward in the monetization of the natural gas reserves discovered off the coast of Tanzania with the finalization of the location of the LNG site.

Following the elections in late-2015 Tanzania’s state-run firm TPDC revealed that the plant would be located at the site at Machenga Bay. TPDC said it is in the final stages of securing the land for the facilities.
