Tanzania Taps Algeria for Exploration Help

While hydrocarbon exploration ambitions continue to grow in East Africa, Tanzania is looking for help to develop in its sector from Algeria.

Tanzanian Energy Minister Sospeter Muhongo said after talks with his Algerian counterpart that his country wanted to use the North African country’s experience to explore for hydrocarbons in several areas. The two countries also plan to establish JVs for electricity and butane gas distribution, according to APS.
