Technip Denies Merger Talks

Following recent press speculation regard a possible strategic transaction involving Technip, the French company released a statement to say that there were no ongoing discussions with respect to such transactions.

There were reports the company was in talks with FMC Technologies regarding a possible combination, but Technip denied the speculation it was headed into a potential merger, touting its position as a world leader in the field.
