Technip/Sonangol JV Wins Block 17 Contract

Technip Angola Engenharia Limitada, and JV between Technip and Angola’s state-run Sonangol, was awarded a contract by Total E&P Angola. The contract is a three-year engineering services contract that covers services for the existing Girassol, Pazflor, and CLOV FPSOs and related subsea field development.

All three FPSO’s are located offshore Angola on Block 17.

The scope of work can comprise engineering, technical assistance, management, supervision and coordination, as well as procurement-related activities.

Technip Angola Engenharia Limitada will carry out the contract, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2018.
