Technip saw its contract for work on Nigeria’s Egina field increased by the project operator, Total. The company had earlier this month won a contract worth $100 million to supply umbilicals to the Egina oil field project on OML 130.
The second contract has Technip supplying 12 dynamic flexible jumpers for oil production, gas lift, water injection and gas export, to connect the single top tension risers to the floating production storage and offloading unit at the field. The company is also expected to supply two 20.5-inch unbonded flexible pipes as oil offloading lines connecting the FPSO to the offloading buoy, as well as associated ancillary equipment.
The contract value was not revealed.
