Starting in February Total will begin exporting half its oil production from the Egina oilfield offshore Nigeria. Initial exports should be just over 100,000 bpd, according to a Bloomberg report.
Total, the field’s operator, will handle the shipments from a $4 billion FPSO, the largest facility of its kind ever built by the major.
