Tower Plans Thali Well

Tower Resources, holding the assets of the Thali block located in the Rio del Rey Basin offshore Cameroon, plans to drill a well in H1 2019. Tower had applied for an extension on the license, which expires on September 14 and gives the company time to drill on the block.

The company has been operating on the Thali Block under contract since 2015.

According to this contract, the planning of oil and gas exploration operations on this block provided for the acquisition of 3D seismic data in 2016 (in 2017, it was decided to reprocess the existing 3D data instead), and the actual launch of drilling activities are to take place between 2017-2018.
