Tanzania’s state-run oil and gas firm, Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), is set to launch an airborne gravity gradiometry survey (AGGS) for oil and gas deposits this week in Arusha, Simiyu and Singida, according to the company’s MD James Mataragio, the Daily News reported.
The second phase for the AGGS analysis using special aircraft will be mapped over the Eyasi Wembere and Mandawa blocks. Other regions to be surveyed are Tabora, Shinyanga, and Lindi will also be mapped in the study.
