Turbine Technology Services Expands to the Oil and Gas Industry, Announces Oil and Gas Business Development Manager Rick Woody
Rick’s experience in oil and gas adds to the company’s technical expertise in turbomachinery to bring quality customer support to both markets.
(Orlando, Florida) — Turbine Technology Services (TTS), a power generation industry leader, extended their proven expertise and customer support to the oil and gas market this April with the addition of Business and Development Manager for the oil and gas segment, Rick Woody.
Known for their global footprint in the gas turbine power generation industry, TTS has been serving a diverse network of rotating equipment customers for over 30 years in the international marketplace. TTS has leveraged reputable experience to provide innovative technical solutions, support, and services. Some of these include performance optimization programs, fuel conversions, dry low NOx conversions, control system upgrades and modernization, and equipment refurbishment and relocation.
TTS’ focus is their hands-on approach to engineering, assuring that customers’ project needs are fully identified and that they provide the most cost effective, robust, and practical solutions. Now, they are applying these proven strategies towards the oil and gas industry by delivering the same level of value and expertise established in power generation. TTS has also expanded their presence in Houston, Texas and will continue to service the global markets located near areas of need with personnel and representation led by Rick Woody.
Rick Woody brings a new level of experience to TTS with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas and power generation markets. His expertise includes significant knowledge of gas compression operations and maintenance on both turbine and reciprocating applications that was gained while employed with Rolls Royce and Cooper Energy Services. Previously, he managed service and sales teams including the successful execution of O&M contracts, equipment upgrades, technical support, and training.
Rick’s first priority has always been customer support, a value he brings to his new role with TTS. “Turbine Technology Services team of experts knows how personally important your equipment is to you and your organization.
