Ugandan Government Incorporates the National Oil Company

The Government of Uganda has concluded the process of incorporating the Uganda National Oil Company Limited.

Dr. Kabagambe Kaliisa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development says that the National Oil Company will be responsible for the government’s commercial interests in the oil and gas industry.
