Due to the deteriorating security issues in Libya the UN has evacuated a number of its foreign staff from Libya.
“They will return if the security situation improves,” said Samir Ghattas, spokesman for the UN Support Mission in Libya said in a Reuters report. Ghattas did not say how many of the UN’s staff remained in the country.
