Valaris Takes One-Well Contract Offshore Cote d’Ivoire

Valaris Limited announced today that it has been awarded a one-well contract with Total E&P Côte d’Ivoire B.V. offshore Cote d’Ivoire for the VALARIS DS-12 drillship. The contract is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2021.

In Côte d’Ivoire, Total operates several deep offshore and ultra-deep offshore exploration licenses:

• The ultra-deep offshore CI-605 license, located at water depths of between 3,000 and 4,000 meters.
• The CI-705 offshore license, located at water depths of between 50 and 2,000 meters.
• The CI-706 deep offshore license, located at water depths of between 1,500 and 2,500 meters.
