VOG Receives Approval for Matanda Stake

Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG) has received approval from the government of Cameroon for the  assignment from Glencore Exploration Cameroon of a 75% participating interest in the Matanda PSC for the Matanda Block to VOG subsidiary Gaz du Cameroun Matanda.

VOG will become Matanda’s operator through Gaz du Cameroun. The remaining 25% in the block will be held by Afex Global.

Details of the work program will be announced following a forthcoming Operating Committee meeting between GDC Matanda, AFEX and state-run Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures du Cameroun.
