Weatherford International Ltd. is moving its place of incorporation from Switzerland to Ireland. The company’s shareholders approved the move during an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders held in Zug, Switzerland.
As previously disclosed by the SIX Swiss Exchange trading in the shares of Weatherford International Ltd. on the exchange will be suspended as from and including June 17 and, depending on the date of the registration of the merger in the commercial register of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, the effective day of delisting of the shares will be June 19, 2014.
