Zingana Flows During Testing

Bowleven saw its Zingana well, located on the Bomono Permit in Cameroon, commence flowing hydrocarbons following the installation of testing equipment. An extended well testing program at Zingana is planned to determine the productivity and connectivity of the shallower reservoir units, which are intended to provide the basis for the initial supply of gas under a gas-to-power development scheme.

Zingana is the first in a two-well exploration program on the Bomono Permit. The other well, Moambe, indicated a maximum stabilized flow rate of 7.3 Mmcf/d through a 48/64 choke with no signs of depletion, back in November.
