In Libya Zueitina Oil’s pipeline network is currently undergoing repairs following an explosion on the evening of April 2. Zueitina has began repairs and has launched an investigation into the blast.
The pipeline was hit with a rocket-propelled grenade according to Libya’s official Lana news agency. NOC said the attack was targeted at a pipeline for crude and another for condensate. Lana said a single gas pipeline was struck. Neither gave details on damage or disruption to shipments.
The pipeline links Zueitina’s export terminal to the company’s Abu Attifel field which is operated by Mellitah Oil and Gas, and the Nakhla field run by Wintershall AG, according to NOC.
